Technical Analysis
Red Cat Holding is currently traded over the counter with the ticker symbol : (RCAT). The value of the company has had a wide range of movement from the past year where back in April 2018 we can see the price of one share sitting at just under $16. With the current stock price at $1.28 we are trading near all time lows of the range. Based on the technical portion of Red Cat holdings it is difficult to be able to determine the next probable price range. Trading volume for the asset remains low and overall attention towards the company is relatively low in comparison to other liquid assets.
As of right now we have not see many large institutions put on new positions in drone companies. The hype and attention towards these technology advancements have not yet caught up to the market place. There is a potential for this stock to gain attention from larger institutional organizations. Once a large investment firm start to look at the asset and potentially determine a price point one can expect to see the stock price start to move rapidly. At the time being we are still seeing low volume and as well low stock price.
Considering that the chart is not providing any clear technical indicators that would be able to help technicians determine high probability price areas we can see the next resistance level is sitting at $8 a share. There was a spike in trading volume near the start of the year as we can see price sitting right below the $1 value. With more attention being brought to the asset the potential for there to be more movement in the underlying asset rises in correlation.
Assets with a value of under $5 a share have a greater tendency for volatility. Although the companies sales have increased 68% from one month to the next investors will be looking for year over year returns. Should they show to remain profitable near the end of the year with projections for growth to follow then we can expect to see the buy orders start to fill.
Until then this company is providing a great opportunity for those who believe in the technology. For those individuals who are passionate towards drones and the countless applications which it can be applied to, this create a unique timing entry for a long position. Being ahead of the curve is a key factor in being able to experience the greatest growth.
